Jermichael Finley Injured in Packers' Loss to Redskins

Filed under: Packers, NFL InjuriesGreen Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley suffered a hamstring injury that required him to be carted off the field early in Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Finley reportedly strained the hamstring, and any extended absence would be devastating for the Packers. Finley did not return to the game Sunday -- a 16-13 Redskins win in overtime -- though he was seen on crutches on the Packers' sideline.

Heading into Sunday's game, Finley led the team with 21 catches for 301 yards, and this season he has established himself as both one of the best tight ends in the league and Aaron Rodgers' favorite receiver. Losing him would be a serious blow to Green Bay.
