When the Atlanta Falcons fell behind by 10 points on the road against the feisty Tampa Bay Buccaneers with just over 10 minutes to go Sunday, their coach went to work on the sidelines reminding his team that it was time for someone -- anyone -- to step up and make a play. That's when Eric Weems (right) took a kickoff, broke five tackles and raced 102 yards for the first kickoff return for a touchdown by the Falcons since 2002.
Now, that's called making a play. But after the NFC front-running Falcons rallied for a 28-24 victory to become the league's first team to 10 wins, 14-year veteran tight end Tony Gonzalez called it something else.
Something bigger.
"That's a sign," Gonzalez said.
