PHILADELPHIA --
Jamar Chaney wasn't supposed to be the man in the middle of the
Eagles' defense in their first playoff game. Not this year. Chaney was the 220th pick in the 2010 draft, inactive for the season opener against the
Packers, and watched from the sidelines for the first half of the season. But an injury to starting middle linebacker
Stewart Bradley pushed Chaney into starting duty in late December, and with Bradley still in doubt for Sunday's playoff rematch with Green Bay, it looks as if Chaney will be the one calling the plays for the Eagles' D.
"It's going to be a big challenge," Chaney said Thursday before the Eagles' practice. "We're going against one of the top offenses, one of the best quarterbacks in the league, some of the best receivers in the NFL. It's a big challenge."
