Arizona State tops Oregon 75-66

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) � Kimberly Brandon scored 20 points and Arizona State needed a late run to put away Oregon 75-66 on Thursday night.

Dymond Simon added 17 points and Becca Tobin had 15 points for the Sun Devils (18-9, 10-7 Pac-10), who won for the fourth time in five games as they make a late push to secure an NCAA tournament berth.

Amanda Johnson recorded 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the Ducks (13-15, 4-13), who have only one win in their last 10 games. Ariel Thomas added 18 points for Oregon, and Kristi Fallin also scored 13.

Arizona State held a 37-26 advantage at halftime after leading by as many as 17 points in the first half.

But Oregon rallied in the second half and took a 60-54 lead with 7:13 to play on back-to-back 3-pointers by Johnson and Danielle Love.

The Sun Devils answered with a 10-0 run to retake the lead, 64-60, with 3:34 to play. Arizona State then outscored Oregon 9-4 in the final two minutes.
