SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) The Black Hills State, University of Sioux Falls and Dakota Wesleyan men's basketball teams play this week in the NAIA Division II national tournament.
No other teams from the Dakotas made the field, which begins play in Point Lookout, Mo., on Wednesday.
South Dakota Mines also was ranked in the Top 25 at the end of the season, and Jamestown College in North Dakota got votes in the final poll. But neither are in the national tournament.
The men's tournament runs through March 15. The women's national tournament is at the same time in Sioux City, Iowa. Making that field are Black Hills State, Mount Marty, Sioux Falls and Valley City State.
