The FanHouse NFL staff will keep you in the loop on everything Super Bowl XLV with real-time updates and analysis as Green Bay vies for its fourth Super Bowl title while Pittsburgh shoots for number seven.
The most wildly popular day in American sports will feature two squads generally perceived as a dead-even match. In the tense buildup to coin toss, David Elfin will lead us off with his observations from the Cowboys Stadium press box.
5:27 P.M. ET: First big cheer here at the stadium. Ben Roethlisberger just came onto the field with some teammates for warmups. There are 14 Steelers on the field and just three Packers (holder, kicker and snapper).
5:30: More Packers came on the field and the Cheeseheads just got a little loud. Although not as loud as the head-banging music blaring at Cowboys Stadium.
5:33: Packers and Steelers starters listed as inactive: defensive end Aaron Smith and center Maurkice Pouncey for Pittsburgh, outside linebacker Erik Walden for Green Bay. Doug Legursky will replace Pouncey and Frank Zombo will fill in for Walden.
