STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) � Mississippi State's football team will report for preseason camp Aug. 1 and begin drills Aug. 4.
The school has announced the first three practices will be open to the public and media. Two-a-days begin Aug. 9.
Mississippi State is allowed 29 practices before opening the season at Memphis on Sept. 1.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 9-4 season in which they beat Michigan in the Gator Bowl.
