3 from Delta St. on All-GSC first team

CLEVELAND, Miss. (AP) Delta State has placed three baseball players on the Gulf South Conference All-GSC first team.

The team was selected by a vote of the league's 14 coaches.

First baseman Kellen Bozeman, outfielder Michael Niemann and pitcher Josh Branstetter were selected for the first team. Catcher Patrick Taylor and pitcher Aaron Newcomb were selected to the second team.

Niemann became the 31st player in GSC history to be named All-GSC three consecutive years. He's the 13th Statesman to accomplish the feat and the first since Eric Patten in 2003-2005.
