Bengals' sights on Palmer?

10:15 AM ET04.16 | With an NFL lockout, there can be no trades. And with no trades, there can be no starting job for Kevin Kolb. So the Philadelphia quarterback sits and waits, and he's not alone. I know of one team out there that would love to have Kolb, and that's Cincinnati -- and why not? The Bengals won't have starter Carson Palmer back, though people close to the organization tell me owner Mike Brown still remains hopeful Palmer will change his mind. That's not good news for anyone there interested in Kolb. Sources confirmed the Bengals won't consider dealing Palmer this year -- that is, after they're allowed to make trades -- and probably wouldn't for at least a year, maybe longer. That's because Brown OKs the deals, and he's not convinced Palmer is leaving.
