NDSU women's softball team advances to nationals

FARGO, N.D. (AP) � The North Dakota State University women's softball team has drawn top-seed Arizona State in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

The Bison (30-25) won their third straight Summit League Tournament title over the weekend to again advance to the 64-team national tournament. They will play Arizona State (50-6) on Friday in Tempe, Ariz.

The winner will play either San Diego State or Long Beach State.
