Oklahoma St rallies to beat Texas Tech in baseball

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) � Mark Ginther's RBI sparked a four-run rally in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Oklahoma State to a 5-2 victory in Big 12 Conference play.

The Cowboys (21-17, 7-7 Big 12) went from trailing 2-1 Saturday to a 5-2 advantage after Ginther's triple scored Robbie Rea, Jarrett Higgins and Aaron Cornell. The Red Raiders (22-19, 3-11) couldn't get a hit in the ninth inning.

Ginther went 2-for-4 for Oklahoma State, and Saulyer Saxon and Gabe Weidenaar each added RBIs for the Cowboys. Kevin Whitehead and Nick Hanslik each had an RBI for Texas Tech.

Reliever Chase Stevens (4-4) allowed no hits or runs in 1 2-3 innings for the victory.

Shane Broyles (2-2) allowed four hits and three runs in an inning of relief in Texas Tech's loss.
