o. A.J. Burnett apologized to his Yankees teammates a day after cutting his hands in a clubhouse tantrum and exiting a start early. Burnett didn't divulge the details of his apology, but things seem to be patched up, and Burnett, who played long toss Sunday morning, is not expected to miss a start.

"It's over with. Anything else with the media in terms of that is over with," Derek Jeter told reporters. "You don't have to do everything through the media. He's already addressed it and he doesn't have to address it again."

o. Though he's been a fixture in trade rumors for what seems like years, the Marlins are likely to hold onto Dan Uggla at the deadline this year, reports MLB.com. Uggla's final year of arbitration is 2011.
