Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel sounds like he's preparing to spend next season in another uniform.
?If they trade me where would you guys like to see me go?? Samuel posted via Twitter on Saturday night.
The Eagles' three-corner alignment with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Nnamdi Asomugha and Samuel saw mixed results last season.
General manager Howie Roseman sounds like he's at least keeping his options open.
"Last year was a unique situation in terms of practice time and preparation time, so I think that it gives us an opportunity with this offseason, with a normal offseason, to kind of jell together,? Roseman told the [Delaware] News Journal.
Samuel, 31, is scheduled to be paid $8.4 million next season.
?Whenever you have a surplus at a particular position there are talks around the league, people call and your phone does ring,? Roseman told the News Journal, ?and that?s happened in the past couple years by our quarterback situation.?
