NEW YORK -- The Houston Rockets are continuing their efforts to put together a package of first-round draft picks in hopes of moving up in the round to get highly sought center Andre Drummond out of Connecticut or even swing a deal with the Orlando Magic to get center Dwight Howard.
The Rockets on Wednesday sent center Samuel Dalembert and the 14th pick in the first round to the Milwaukee Bucks for the 12th pick in the first round, guard Shaun Livingston and forwards Jon Brockman and Jon Leuer, according to two people with knowledge of the trade who requested anonymity until the deal becomes official.
That leaves the Rockets with the 12th, 16th and 18th picks of the first round.
In the latest USA TODAY Sports/Hoopsworld.com mock draft of the first round, Steve Kyler has Drummond falling from the No. 6 pick to No. 10 and going to the New Orleans Hornets.
