Filed under: Jaguars, NFL Police BlotterJaguars wide receiver Kassim Osgood was pistol-whipped and had to leap out a second-story window after a man invaded the home of a woman he was visiting late Monday, according to police reports.

Osgood, 30, was at the home of Mackenzie Rae Putnal, 19, when her ex-boyfriend Julian Armond Bartletto, 20, walked into the house wielding a gun with a plastic bag covering his face. Bartletto reportedly yelled, "I can't believe you're with that guy," before attacking Osgood and Putnal, including striking them with the gun, holding it to both of their heads and hitting Putnal's dog.

Putnal eventually ran and was chased by Bartletto, and the two exchanged gunfire. Meanwhile, Osgood jumped out the window and ran to a neighbor's house, where he called the police. Bartletto fled but was found at his home and arrested. He now faces charges of aggravated battery, false imprisonment, armed robbery, burglary and violation of an injunction. He's ineligible for bond.

Osgood escaped with minor bruises, and declined comment Wednesday.
