Somewhere out there in Fantasy Nation, some team started Roddy White, Kenny Britt and Lee Evans. Perhaps that team was without Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes and/or Pierre Garcon with their teams' bye weeks. Perhaps that team's owner didn't have confidence in a banged up Hakeem Nicks or Donald Driver.
Whatever the case, the few owners that started White, Britt and Evans in their leagues were rewarded handsomely. The three receivers combined for 531 yards, eight TDs and one two-point conversion. Try losing when your receiving corps tops 100 points.
We expected it from Roddy White, a consensus preseason No. 1 fantasy receiver that has looked like a man among boys this year. The Falcon receiver topped 200 yards on Sunday while scoring his fourth and fifth TDs and adding a two-point conversion for good measure. This was with quarterback Matt Ryan falling just short of a 300-yard day. White's averaging over 100 yards per game, and he hasn't scored less than eight fantasy points in any week in normal scoring. No. 1 receiver overall? Yeah, I'd say so.
