Filed under: Rangers, Yankees, MLB Playoffs, American League Championship SeriesARLINGTON, Texas -- When the Rangers ran out to another five-run lead in Saturday's Game 2 of the American League Championship Series, everyone watching, everyone in the ballpark, had the same thoughts:
The Yankees have them right where they want them.
Or, here we go again.
Everyone, that is, except seven guys. The ones sitting down in the Texas bullpen.
"I don't think it was redemption," Clay Rapada said. "I just think it was a great bounce-back."
Less than 24 hours after blowing a four-run lead with six outs to go, Friday's goats did their job. Rapada, Alexi Ogando, Darren Oliver, Darren O'Day and Neftali Feliz combined for 3 1/3 scoreless innings to preserve the Rangers' win.
