LAA@TEX: Beltre gets RBI single off Wilson
A day after a 1-hour, 56-minute rain delay and a 10-3 Rangers win, Saturday's contest will mark Texas' eighth consecutive sellout.
"We have a legitimate homefield advantage because of our fans," Michael Young said. "Our fans are the loudest in baseball. When this place gets goin', it really rocks."
Getting the start for the Angels will be, C.J. Wilson -- again. Wilson started Friday's game, but he faced only five batters before the rain delay cut his night short.
The left-hander, who got only one out in Friday's contest, gave up three straight singles and a walk before the tarp came out. He wound up being charged with four runs and the loss, raising his ERA to 3.46.
Wilson will quickly be able to redeem himself against his former club, becoming the first pitcher to start consecutive games since Aaron Myette of the Rangers did it Sept. 3-4, 2002, after being ejected four pitches into the first game.
"We weighed a lot of things, and when the rain delay progressed, we thought it was going to be too long," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. "Two hours is a long time for C.J. to go back out, and he felt really strong that he could come back and start tomorrow. We felt that was the best option, and we'll see how he does tomorrow."
Going up against Wilson will be left-hander Matt Harrison, who is not only trying for his fifth win of the season, but will look to increase Texas' already hefty eight-game lead over the Angels in the American League West.
Bouncing back after two horrendous starts, Harrison surrendered three runs on six hits in seven innings of work on Monday against the Orioles for the win.
Angels: Iannetta has successful surgery; Hester fills spot
� As expected, the Angels called up catcher John Hester on Friday to take Chris Iannetta's place on the roster.
Iannetta underwent successful wrist surgery on Friday and is expected to be out six to eight weeks. Hester will serve as the backup to catcher Bobby Wilson.
Hester, signed to a Minor League deal with the Angels late in April, has played in 53 Major League games with the Diamondbacks from 2009-10.
� Designated hitter Kendrys Morales was out of the lineup against Rangers right-hander Yu Darvish on Friday, due to tightness in his left Achilles tendon that he doesn't expect to keep him out much longer.
On Friday morning, Morales called Dr. Thomas Clanton, who performed his second ankle surgery in Vail, Colo., and told Scioscia he should stay off of it so it doesn't become more serious.
Rangers: Andrus a hitting machine
Bringing a 10-game hitting streak into Friday's series opener against the Angels, shortstop Elvis Andrus went 1-for-5 in the game to keep the streak alive.
During the 11-game stretch, Andrus is hitting .452 (19-for-42) with 10 runs scored and five doubles, helping raise his average to .318.
"I'm finding out what I'm capable of doing," Andrus said. "I want to hit .300, score 100 runs and steal 30 bases. It won't be easy, but that's what I'm shooting for."

� Hitting two more home runs in Friday's game against the Angels, Josh Hamilton is only the third player in Major League history to hit 17 home runs in his team's first 33 games. Cy Williams did so for the Phillies in 1923, and Frank Howard for the Senators in 1968.
� The Angels' starting staff has posted quality starts in 14 of its last 16 games and in 17 of its last 20 affairs.
� The Angels are 0-14 this season when trailing after seven innings.
