BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Free agent quarterback Vince Young is traveling to Buffalo to work out with the Bills.
The Buffalo News first reported on its website Tuesday that Young is scheduled to work out Wednesday. The Bills have since announced the visit on their website.
Young has had an up-and-down career since being selected third overall by Tennessee in the 2006 NFL draft.
After five years with the Titans, he struggled in his one season with Philadelphia. As a backup, he finished with four touchdowns, nine interceptions and was sacked eight times in six games, including three starts.
The Bills have a starter in place in Ryan Fitzpatrick. Young presents a dual threat as a runner and passer, and would be regarded as a good fit in coach Chan Gailey's wildcat formations.
