Michael Vick Still Running Eagles Offense; Kevin Kolb 'Making Progress'

Filed under: Eagles, NFL InjuriesKevin Kolb is "making progress" in his recovery from the concussion he sustained in a Week 1 loss to Green Bay, Eagles coach Andy Reid said Wednesday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game at Detroit. In Kolb's absence Michael Vick will continue to take first-team reps at QB for Philadelphia.

"[Vick will take] every snap [Wednesday] and the way it looks, he'll have every snap [Thursday]," Reid said. "We'll take Friday as it comes."

Linebacker Stewart Bradley also suffered a concussion against the Packers, and neither he nor Kolb has been cleared by team doctors. The NFL has in place a strict policy in place that prevents players from participating in full workouts or games if they are not able to pass a series of medical tests.

"They are making progress, they did take the test [Wednesday] morning," Reid said. "Let me tell you, Stewart is ahead of Kevin right now as far as how they feel.

"I'm going to take this day by day, so I'm not going to tell you if they're in or out."
