Sam Bradford's introduction to play at the NFL level looked far from pleasant, but to hear the Rams' rookie quarterback tell it, his part in Saturday's 28-7 loss to Minnesota wasn't all that bad.
"It was fun to get out there, get hit a couple of times, get hit, get knocked down, get back up," Bradford said. "Just getting back into the flow of a football game was fun."
Bradford, the Rams' No. 1 pick out of Oklahoma, was only supposed to play the second quarter. But when it came down to it, he was allowed to take St. Louis on its first possession of the third quarter as well.
It wasn't particularly a day to remember for Bradford, who ran the Rams' offense for four series after taking over from starter A.J. Feeley.
