Dominic Raiola has been fined $15,000 by the Lions for yelling an obscenity at a fan after the Lions beat the Dolphins in Miami last weekend. Raiola snapped at the fan as he was leaving the stadium.Raiola didn't apologize for his actions, saying he "paid the price" for his actions.
"It's like when you're a kid, and you do something wrong, and you get beat up for it, your dad beats you up," Raiola said. "I got beat up. I got fined. Usually, you move on to the next day."
Raiola was also fined $7,500 in 2008 for giving the middle finger to hecklers at Ford Field. At the time, he said he had already been fined by then-coach Rod Marinelli for getting into other confrontations with fans.
"I'm just emotional," Raiola said today. "Interaction with the crowd, it's a part of every Sunday."
