Filed under: SteelersJames Harrison's paycheck will be a little lighter again this week. Harrison has reportedly been fined $20,000 for a late hit on Drew Brees in last Sunday's night game against the Saints.
Harrison has now been fined $100,000 this season. He was most notably fined $75,000 for two hits in a game against the Browns earlier this season. Those hits played a prominent role in getting the NFL to up the discipline for devastating hits. Harrison bristled at the league's new discipline, threatening retirement and missing a practice. Eventually showing up and playing for the Steelers in the following game against the Dolphins, Harrison afterwards blamed the new discipline for his "least productive game."
