Neither the Patriots nor the Jets looked particularly flawless on Thanksgiving Day. New England trailed Detroit 17-10 at halftime and needed a 21-point fourth quarter to secure a victory. The Jets, meanwhile, fell behind Cincinnati 7-3, before Brad Smith carried them to a 26-10 win.But no matter how they got there, both teams now sit at 9-2, with the Jets set to visit New England in Week 13 for a huge game that should decide the AFC East -- and could, further down the road, determine which city the AFC's Super Bowl road goes through.
It took Rex Ryan all of 15 minutes after his Jets beat the Bengals to turn his attention to that game in Foxborough, Mass., next week.
"They're clearly the best team in football," Rex Ryan said of the Patriots, "that's what all the experts say. Except me."
