Vikings Reportedly Disagree About Randy Moss Release

Filed under: VikingsRandy Moss will be waived by the Vikings at some point, despite not getting waived Monday, in one of the stranger stories in a strange NFL season. For Brad Childress, it's more unwanted drama for a team that has vastly underperformed and already employs drama king Brett Favre.

Through the uncertainty of Moss' future Monday, it seemed there was conflict within the Vikings about whether or not Moss should be released. Reports are emerging of just that.

It seems Childress is firmly behind the move, telling the team during a Monday meeting about the impending roster move. At a Monday press conference, he failed to stick up for Moss when asked if he regretted trading for him. Yet Childress' boss, owner Zygi Wilf, was reportedly "not happy" about the decision.
